WSJ – Flood Fears Ease in Snowy Buffalo

The substantial snowfall from last week’s winter storm in Buffalo, Upstate NY and Western NY, stands the risk of causing major flooding from the melting of 5+ feet of snowfall.  Snow removal crews are hard at work to preempt the risk of flooding.  Governor Cuomo and U.S. Senator Gillibrand are actively involved in monitoring this situation.

Governor Cuomo noted that many towns have already spent their entire snow removal budget this year, and that ““the winter hasn’t even started yet.”
