SC Cure 500® penetrates and forms a temporary membrane to cure, densify, harden and dustproof concrete essential for proper strength development. Should SC CURE 500® be over applied or left to dry on the surface of hard trowel concrete surfaces, the surface membrane becomes brittle and is easily removed with a stiff broom or light abrasion. Once the surface has been cleaned, lithium hardeners can be applied within 7 days. SC CURE 500® meets the moisture retention of ASTM C-309 on hard-troweled concrete surfaces.

Application

COVERAGE:
Curing, Sealing, Hardening and Dustproofing: Hard Troweled Finish: 500-600 sq ft / gal
Broom or Float Finish: 300-400 sq ft / gal
Vertical Surface: 400-500 sq ft / gal

Extend application rate to 1000-1200 sq-ft per gal on extremely hard trowelled, burnished concrete floors (ie Wal Mart, Kohl’s etc)
The above rates are approximate. Exact coverage depends upon the porosity of the concrete as well as the job requirements.

Place concrete, finish, cut control joints and thoroughly remove all saw cutting residue before cure application.

Spray apply in a fine mist and immediately spread with a microfiber applicator pad. Over-application and puddling may leave a clear-milky membrane which is removed with a stiff broom, screen or flushing the surface with water and scrubbing. Spraying and spreading with
applicator pad provides superior results. Application temperatures 40oF to 90oF.
